THE ROLE
As a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint repairs and refinishing work, ensuring vehicles are restored to manufacturer and customer expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
·Preparing vehicles and panels for the paint process
·Mixing and colour matching paints accurately
·Applying primer, basecoat and clearcoat finishes
·Carrying out paint refinishing work to a high standard
·Inspecting completed work and rectifying any paint defects
·Maintaining quality control throughout the repair process
·Ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales
·Working closely with panel technicians and workshop colleagues to maximise efficiency
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Bodyshop or accident repair environment and take pride in delivering exceptional paint finishes.
·Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician or Paint Refinisher
·Recognised qualification in Vehicle Refinishing (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds / ATA or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development
·Experience working within a Bodyshop or accident repair centre
·Strong knowledge of paint application and colour matching techniques
·Ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards
·Excellent attention to detail and finishing skills
·Strong organisational and time management abilities
·Positive attitude and team-focused approach
·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
