We are currently recruiting a Vehicle Paint Sprayer for our client, a large automotive accident repair group with multiple centres across England. This Vehicle Paint Sprayer position is based in Cheltenham and involves producing high-quality refinishing work in a busy repair environment.

Duties of the Paint Sprayer:
  • Paint vehicles to a high standard, ensuring timely completion
  • Use paint processes and techniques to achieve consistent, professional results
  • Complete preparation work including priming and masking
  • Apply RPE and PPE correctly at the required times
  • Accurately match painted panels to the vehicle’s original colour
  • Apply the correct amount of paint for optimal finish quality
  • Inspect finished paint jobs and polish as required
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to support quality and efficiency
  • Work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
Requirements of the Paint Sprayer:
  • Fully qualified Vehicle Paint Sprayer to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or strong time-served experience
  • Experience working to a demanding throughput in an accident repair environment
  • Strong knowledge of preparation and refinishing procedures
  • UK driving licence with minimal points
  • High-quality workmanship and motivation to meet team targets
  • ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to safe working practices
