We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Paint Sprayer in Oldham. Duties of a Paint Sprayer:
  • Carry out high-quality vehicle body repairs and painting on commercial fleet vehicles
  • Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and surface treatment
  • Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats with precision
  • Conduct minor bodywork repairs, filler application, and prepping for painting
  • Perform trailer repairs and welding activities as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
  • Complete quality control checks on finished work
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and production targets
Requirements for a Paint Sprayer:
  • Previous experience as a paint sprayer, panel beater, or body builder, ideally within the automotive or commercial vehicle sector
  • Good understanding of vehicle repair processes including welding and filler work
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures in an automotive repair environment
  • Experience working on a range of vehicles including HGVs, vans, and cars
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player
  • Trailer repair and welding experience highly advantageous
