We are actively seeking a highly skilled Paint Sprayer for a reputable client in Wimbledon. This exciting opportunity involves joining a brand-new Bodyshop opening soon in Wimbledon, perfect for experienced professionals seeking growth within the automotive sector. The successful individual will play a vital role in the daily operations of the new facility, contributing to high-quality vehicle preparation and painting work.

Benefits for the successful Paint Sprayer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £18 to £20, dependent on experience
  • Permanent, full-time position on PAYE basis
  • Flexible working hours: 40 or 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with optional Saturdays at standard rate
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, with future wellbeing packages
  • Opportunity to work in modern facilities, including a spray booth

  • Work on both private and insurance work vehicles within a professional environment
Duties of the Paint Sprayer:
  • Assisting in vehicle preparation, including stripping, fitting, and surface preparation
  • Painting and finishing vehicles using modern equipment, including spray booths
  • Polishing vehicles to achieve a professional finish
  • Minor component work and surface refinishing
  • Supporting the team to establish and develop the new body shop
  • Contributing to the smooth operation of the workshop and upholding quality standards
Requirements of the Paint Sprayer:
  • Proven experience as a Prepper, Vehicle Painter, or Vehicle Polisher in a body shop environment
  • Ability to carry out preparation, painting, polishing, and stripping/fitting tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
  • Knowledge of vehicle refinishing techniques and use of relevant tools and equipment
  • Flexible attitude and team-oriented approach
  • Enthusiasm to grow and develop skills within a dynamic environment
