Plasterer – School Environment

Location: London

Requirement: Valid Enhanced DBS certificate

We are looking for an experienced Plasterer to carry out repair and finishing work within a school in London.

The successful candidate must be reliable, professional and comfortable working in an occupied education environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare walls, ceilings and other surfaces for plastering.
• Complete patch repairs, skimming and general remedial plasterwork.
• Repair cracks, holes and damaged plaster.
• Apply smooth, high-quality finishes ready for decoration.
• Mix and apply plaster using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Protect floors, furniture and surrounding areas.
• Keep the working area clean, tidy and safe.
• Complete work with minimal disruption to pupils and staff.
• Follow all safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Enhanced DBS certificate – essential.
• Previous professional plastering experience.
• Experience working in schools or public buildings is desirable.
• Strong surface-preparation and finishing skills.
• Own tools and PPE where required.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Professional conduct and awareness of safeguarding responsibilities.
• Relevant trade qualifications are desirable but not essential.
