Painter & Decorator, Temp to Perm, Competitive Salary, Overtime Available, Company Van

• 40 hours paid per week
• Overtime and travel paid at 1.5x the standard hourly rate
• Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes and before the final 30 minutes of the day

• Regular work across a varied range of commercial and retail properties

Responsibilities

• Complete painting and decorating work internally and externally
• Prepare surfaces and carry out finishing work to a high standard
• Complete general property maintenance and minor repairs where required
• Additional work such as tiling, plastering, patching or minor carpentry would be beneficial
• Work across shopping centres, commercial properties and other sites
• Travel between sites as required
• Attend sites promptly for an 8:00am start
• Work independently while maintaining a professional standard of workmanship

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator
• Good knowledge of painting and decorating techniques
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently
• Full UK driving licence, subject to licence check
• Own tools suitable for the role
• Additional trade skills such as tiling, plastering, carpentry or general building would be an advantage but are not essential
• Comfortable travelling between different sites
