Painter & Decorator

Location: Multiple school sites across the Wirral

Duration: 6 weeks

Rate: £19-£20 per hour

Start: 20th July

Contract Type: Temporary

We are looking for experienced Painters & Decorators to carry out internal and external works across school buildings throughout the Wirral. You'll be part of a professional maintenance team delivering high‑quality finishes in active educational environments.

• Internal emulsion works on walls and ceilings

• External painting including masonry and woodwork

• Sash window preparation & painting

• Surface preparation: sanding, filling, priming

• Ensuring safe working practices within school premises

• Delivering consistent, high‑quality workmanship to deadlines

• Valid CSCS Card - essential

• IPAF qualification - preferred

• Proven experience in painting & decorating, ideally in public‑sector or school environments

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Strong attention to detail and pride in finish quality
