Painter & Decorator in Bristol, Gloucestershire

Straight-Line Group are currently looking for experienced Painter & Decorators to start on a refurbishment project in Bristol.

This is a great opportunity for skilled Painter & Decorators to work on a refurbishment programme involving accommodation and internal finishing works.

The Role:

The main duties will include:

• Preparing walls and surfaces ready for painting
• Painting walls, ceilings, doors and woodwork
• Applying undercoats and finishing coats where required
• Painting throughout kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
• Preparing and painting skirting boards and internal woodwork
• General preparation, filling, sanding and making good
• General painting and decorating works as required

The Ideal Painter & Decorator:

• Previous experience in refurbishment and painting & decorating
• Confident working on internal refurbishment projects
• Able to prepare surfaces and achieve a high standard finish
• Able to work independently and to a high standard
• Own painting and decorating tools required
• Reliable, professional and able to work well around other trades

Important Site Requirements

The project involves working within supported accommodation, so operatives must be professional, respectful and considerate at all times.

There are specific security procedures on site, including ensuring doors and designated areas are properly secured and locked where required. Candidates must be comfortable working in an environment where attention to security, professionalism and consideration for residents is essential.

Rate: £19.00 - £22.00
