Painter & Decorator

Are you an experienced Painter & Decorator with your own van and tools, looking for temp work within high-quality residential Apartments  A well-established property management company is looking for a reliable Painter & Decorator to support the maintenance of rental apartments across Walton-on-Thames, and the Farnham area.

This Painter & Decorator role offers  temporary work carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance to prepare apartments for new tenants and complete repairs within occupied properties. The successful Painter & Decorator will be joining a professional team committed to maintaining high standards across a residential portfolio, must have own van, brushes, whites, and tools.

The ideal Painter & Decorator will have excellent decorating skills alongside a good all-round, all interior and exterior aspects, you will be working across two properties, one in Farnham, one in Walton-On-Thames, must live local to these areas.

Duties

• Carry out reactive and planned painting and decorating works.
• Prepare walls and surfaces by filling, sanding and priming.
• Complete high-quality internal decorating and touch-up work.
• Prepare vacant apartments ready for new tenants.
• Undertake minor property repairs and general maintenance.
• Property maintenance skills an advantage
• Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator.
• Own van and tools are essential.
• Experience in property maintenance and multi-trade repairs.
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Reliable, hardworking and well presented.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Must provide two satisfactory references and live within a reasonable commuting distance of Walton-on-Thames Or Farnham.

Benefits

• £25 per hour.
• Temporary 4 x weeks
