Job Title: Painter & Decorator

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and hardworking Painter & Decorator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring all work is completed to a high professional standard.

• Prepare walls, ceilings, doors, woodwork, and other surfaces for painting.

• Fill cracks, holes, and imperfections and carry out sanding where required.

• Apply paint, primer, varnish, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes.

• Use brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other painting tools safely.

• Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and surrounding areas from paint and damage.

• Mix and match paints and colours according to specifications.

• Maintain clean and tidy work areas throughout the job.

• Inspect completed work and carry out touch-ups where necessary.

• Follow health and safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.

• Work independently or as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.

• Complete work within agreed timescales and to a high standard.

• Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator is preferred.

• Good knowledge of painting and surface preparation techniques.

• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

• CSCS Required
