We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring a high-quality finish on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The Painter must be able to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining health and safety standards.

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling holes, and removing old paint.
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Mix and match paint colours according to specifications.
• Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking tape, and other materials.
• Repair and maintain painted surfaces when required.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members.

• Previous experience as a Painter or Decorator.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and access equipment.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
• CSCS card (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).
