Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all paint shop activities, including loading and unloading of parts, to meet production schedules
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of paint shop operatives to achieve output and quality targets
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company health & safety policies and PPE requirements
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure tasks are completed within target times
  • Approve and review team timesheets, ensuring accuracy at the end of each shift
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and optimise machine/labour hours
  • Ensure all equipment servicing and maintenance is carried out and recorded
  • Manage storage and organisation of completed parts, including yard coordination


Requirements



Essential:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Proven team leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Good IT skills, including Excel and ERP systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Forklift (FLT) experience
