Palantir Engineer, Contract
£650 to £750 per day, Outside IR35

Ncounter is supporting an urgent healthcare technology programme and is looking for experienced Palantir Engineers who can join at very short notice. This is a high-impact project working with large and complex healthcare datasets, helping to build and develop technology that supports critical services at a national level.

We are interested in speaking with Palantir specialists across Software Engineering, Data Engineering and Architecture backgrounds. Previous hands-on experience working with Palantir or the Federated Data Platform (FDP) is essential, and you will need to be comfortable joining an established programme and contributing quickly.

Key experience:

• Strong commercial experience with Palantir technologies and/or FDP
• Background in Palantir architecture, software engineering or data engineering
• Experience designing, building or integrating data-driven applications and platforms
• AWS and cloud-based engineering environments
• API development and integration, ideally including API Management
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7
• Exposure to React would be beneficial
• CI/CD and DevOps practices using GitLab and/or GitHub
• Comfortable working within Agile delivery environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence

Previous healthcare experience would be highly beneficial, particularly experience working across NHS environments or large-scale public healthcare programmes. The engagement is expected to run until the end of March 2027 and has minimal to no travel requirements. The role sits Outside IR35, with rates between £650 and £750 per day depending on experience.
