⏰ Hours: Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm
💰 Pay: £14.00 per hour, rising to £15.00 per hour once targets are achieved + bonus for exceeding KPIs

We are currently recruiting for Pallet Repairers and Pallet Sorters to join our client’s busy operation in Carrington.
This is a hands-on role with opportunities for progression in pay based on performance. You will be responsible for inspecting and sorting wooden pallets, identifying those requiring repair and, where required, carrying out repairs to ensure pallets meet the required quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect wooden pallets for damage, defects and overall condition
- Sort pallets according to size, type and condition
- Identify pallets requiring repair or disposal
- Repair damaged pallets using hand and power tools
- Remove damaged or broken boards and replace them with new timber
- Ensure repaired pallets meet required quality standards
- Stack and organise pallets safely in designated areas
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Follow all site health and safety procedures
- Work towards daily and weekly productivity targets
- Previous experience in pallet repair, pallet sorting, warehouse work or manual labour is preferred but not essential
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools, or willing to learn
- Good attention to detail, particularly when inspecting pallets for damage
- Comfortable with a physically demanding, manual role
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Able to work towards targets and KPIs
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
✅ £14.00 per hour to start
✅ Pay rising to £15.00 per hour once targets are achieved
✅ Additional bonus for exceeding KPIs
