We are currently recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater / Vehicle Body Repair Technician to join a well-established accident repair business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs and wants to work in a modern, professional body shop environment

Responsibilities of a Panel Beater

As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer and company repair standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing damaged vehicles and determining the appropriate repair method
  • Carrying out structural and non-structural body repairs
  • Removing and replacing damaged panels
  • Straightening and repairing vehicle bodywork
  • Welding and fabrication where required
  • Repairing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Working alongside MET Technicians, Paint Technicians and other workshop staff
  • Ensuring repairs are completed within agreed timeframes
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Following all company health & safety procedures


Requirements for Panel Beater

We are looking for an experienced Panel Beater with a background in automotive accident repair / vehicle body repair.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Panel Beater within an Accident Repair Centre / Body Shop
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques
  • Experience repairing both structural and non-structural damage
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • The ability to work efficiently to repair targets and deadlines
  • A strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team
  • A full UK driving licence would be advantageous

ATA accreditation, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications are desirable but not essential.
