The Role
As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll play a key role in returning damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest level of quality.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Repairing and replacing damaged vehicle panels using recognised repair techniques.
·Carrying out accurate panel alignment and structural repairs where required.
·Removing dents and restoring vehicle bodywork to manufacturer standards.
·Working alongside Paint Sprayers, MET Technicians and Vehicle Damage Assessors to achieve an efficient repair process.
·Ensuring all repairs meet quality, safety and industry standards.
·Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
·Managing your workload effectively to meet agreed repair times.
·Reporting any additional repair requirements to the workshop team.
About You
We're looking for a skilled Panel Beater / Panel Technician who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
·Previous experience as a Panel Beater, Panel Technician or Vehicle Body Repair Technician.
·Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
·Strong knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods and Bodyshop procedures.
·The ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
·Experience using professional body repair equipment and tools.
·A positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
·A full UK driving licence.
