The Role
As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.
Key responsibilities include:
·Repairing and replacing damaged vehicle panels using approved repair methods.
·Straightening chassis and body structures using specialist alignment equipment.
·Removing and refitting panels and structural components where required.
·Carrying out welding, filling and metal finishing to achieve a high-quality repair.
·Working closely with Paint Sprayers and MET Technicians to ensure an efficient repair process.
·Identifying any additional damage and communicating repair requirements.
·Maintaining high standards of workmanship while achieving productivity targets.
·Following all manufacturer specifications and health and safety procedures.
About You
You'll be a skilled repair professional who takes pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced Bodyshop environment.
You'll ideally have:
·Previous experience as a Panel Beater, Panel Technician, Body Repair Technician or Accident Repair Technician.
·Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
·Strong knowledge of modern panel repair techniques and body alignment systems.
·The ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
·Excellent attention to detail and a positive, team-focused attitude.
·A full UK driving licence.
