THE ROLE
As an Experienced Panel Beater, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality repairs to accident-damaged vehicles, using your technical expertise to restore vehicle bodywork to manufacturer and industry standards. You'll work closely with the wider bodyshop team to ensure repairs are completed efficiently, accurately and to an exceptional standard.

Key Responsibilities:
·Carry out panel repairs, replacement and alignment on accident-damaged vehicles
·Complete structural repairs and component replacement using appropriate repair methods
·Carry out welding, metal finishing and panel preparation to a high standard
·Assess vehicle damage and determine the appropriate repair techniques
·Identify additional damage and communicate requirements to the VDA/Estimator or Workshop Controller
·Work closely with MET Technicians, Paint Technicians and the wider workshop team to maintain efficient vehicle throughput
·Follow manufacturer repair methods and ensure all repairs meet required quality standards
·Complete repairs within agreed production times while maintaining exceptional workmanship and Health & Safety standards

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced and technically capable Panel Beater / Panel Technician who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs and has the skills to work efficiently within a busy accident repair environment.

·Proven experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within an automotive accident repair centre or bodyshop
·Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair and accident repair techniques
·Experience carrying out panel repairs, replacement and alignment
·Strong structural repair, welding and metal finishing skills
·Good understanding of modern vehicle construction and manufacturer repair methods
·Ability to assess damage and determine appropriate repair techniques
·Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship
·Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment
·Reliable, professional and motivated approach to work
·Strong team player with good communication skills
·Ideally IMI and/or ATA qualified (advantageous but not essential)
·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
