The Role
As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently and to an exceptional level of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
·Repair or replace damaged body panels using approved repair methods.
·Carry out structural and non-structural vehicle repairs to manufacturer specifications.
·Assess damaged vehicles and determine the most effective repair techniques.
·Use specialist bodyshop equipment, welding tools and alignment systems safely and effectively.
·Work closely with estimators, Paint Technicians and workshop colleagues to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
·Maintain outstanding repair quality while meeting agreed productivity targets.
·Complete all work in line with health and safety procedures and company quality standards.
·Keep accurate records of repairs and report any additional damage identified during the repair process.
About You
We're looking for a motivated technician who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs and enjoys working in a fast-paced bodyshop environment.
You should have:
·Previous experience as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Body Repair Technician.
·A strong understanding of modern vehicle body repair techniques and equipment.
·The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative workshop team.
·Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
·Good time management skills and the ability to meet repair deadlines.
·ATA accreditation (desirable but not essential).
·A full UK driving licence.
