We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a skilled and experienced Panel Beater for their Accident and Repair Centre located in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional seeking a role with a reputable organisation committed to quality workmanship and employee development.

Duties of the Panel Beater:
  • Repairing vehicles to a high standard following manufacturer specifications
  • Removing and refitting panels, bumpers, and doors
  • Ensuring all work is completed with precision and attention to detail
  • Utilising various tools and techniques to achieve an excellent finish
  • Welding and panel beating as required
  • Working independently or as part of a team
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally
  • Adhering to health and safety standards at all times
Requirements of the Panel Beater:
  • Full Level 3 Panel Beater qualification or SCQF equivalent
  • ATA accreditation is highly beneficial
  • Good welding skills are advantageous
  • Demonstrable experience using different tools and techniques for panel repairs
  • Ability to work on all vehicle makes and models to the highest standard
  • Own tools for the job
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Proven ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must be based within a commutable distance to Kilmarnock
