Vehicle Panel Beater Vacancy in Swindon!

Our client, one of the UK's leading independent used van and commercial vehicle retailers, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Panel Beater to join their modern bodyshop facilities in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to a reputable organisation with long-term career prospects.

  • Competitive salary between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Overtime opportunities, including Saturdays, paid at the standard rate

  • Monday to Friday hours, 8:00am-6:00pm, with Saturdays, 8:00am-1:30pm, on a rota
Duties of the Panel Beater:
  • Undertake replacement and repair of damaged automotive body panels
  • Conduct chassis and framework repairs with precision
  • Stripping and rebuilding of accident-damaged vehicles
  • Accurately assess vehicle damage and execute high-quality repairs
  • Repair bumpers and doors as required
  • Mask and prepare vehicles for painting
  • Ensure all repairs meet relevant quality standards
  • Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficiency and safety standards within the bodyshop
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater, either current or recent
  • An IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Accident Repair is desirable but not essential
  • Strong 'on the job' experience with a focus on meticulous standards
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • A valid UK driving licence with minimal points
