Our client, a reputable Prestige Accident Repair Centre based in Derby, is seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join their dedicated team. Duties of the Panel Beater:
  • Prepare vehicles to exacting high standards
  • Carry out panel replacements and structural repairs with precision
  • Perform body jig work accurately
  • Undertake welding and structural repairs, including aluminium welding
  • Complete strip and refit work as required
  • Identify and report additional repair work needed
  • Maintain high standards of workshop cleanliness and organisation
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to complete repairs within deadlines
  • Stay updated with product and technical knowledge relevant to vehicle repair processes
Requirements of the Panel Beater:
  • Proven experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within an accident repair centre or main dealership
  • Experience working on prestige or high-value vehicle brands preferred
  • Strong skills in structural repairs and jig work
  • Confident in welding, particularly aluminium
  • ATA accreditation or recognised qualification desirable
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficient in modern tooling and computer systems
