Control Panel Wirer

We are currently seeking an experienced Control Panel Wirer for an immediate start on a 3-month temporary assignment, with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent for the right individual. This role is focused on control panel wiring within a busy production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wiring and assembling industrial control panels from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Building panels to a high standard of quality and accuracy
• Terminating cables, including the use of bootlace ferrules, crimp terminals, and lugs
• Cable routing, trunking, and looming within control cabinets
• Performing point-to-point wiring and neat, structured panel layouts
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and wiring schedules
• Carrying out basic testing and continuity checks on completed panels
• Maintaining a clean and organised build area in line with H&S standards

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Control Panel Wiring or similar role
• Strong background in control panel wiring and electrical assembly
• Ability to read and work from schematics and wiring diagrams
• Confident with cable preparation, crimping, and termination techniques
• Experience working in a production or workshop environment
• High attention to detail and quality-focused approach

Hours: 40 hours per week, overtime available
