A well-established London law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Paralegal to support a Residential Property Partner with a varied caseload.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Property Paralegal with previous conveyancing experience to join a busy, client-focused team and take on a varied role covering both legal and administrative support.
The Residential Property Paralegal role:
- Supporting freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Assisting with remortgages and transfers of equity
- Supporting fee earners with contracts, leases and completion statements
- Preparing Land Registry applications and title searches
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors and lenders
- Managing file opening, closing and general file administration
- Arranging appointments, meetings and diary management
- Assisting with post-completion matters
- Maintaining accurate electronic and physical files
- Providing telephone and in-person client support
The successful Residential Property Paralegal:
- Previous residential conveyancing experience is essential
- Previous law firm experience required
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong client care skills
- Experience using legal case management systems
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to take ownership
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities
