Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical research and analysis across a range of financial planning areas, including pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning.
- Prepare comprehensive and compliant suitability reports and recommendation documents.
- Analyse client information and assist in developing tailored financial planning solutions.
- Support advisers in preparing for client meetings, including the production of meeting packs and financial planning documentation.
- Ensure all client recommendations and documentation comply with FCA regulations and company standards.
- Assist with ongoing client reviews and annual servicing requirements.
- Previous experience in a Paraplanner, Technical Consultant, or Financial Planning support role.
- Strong understanding of pensions, investments, protection, and financial planning principles.
- Experience writing suitability reports.
- Excellent analytical and research skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- Experience working within a St. James's Place Partner Practice.
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4) or working towards qualification.
£35,000 - £40,000
