Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to join a growing, independent financial planning firm with genuine career development opportunities?
Our client is a well-established Independent Financial Adviser with four offices across the North West. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Paraplanner to join their team in Cheadle.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Financial Advisers, providing technical support and helping to deliver high-quality financial planning solutions. Whether you're looking to continue developing as a technical specialist or have ambitions to become a Financial Adviser in the future, this firm offers the support and structure to help you achieve your goals.

The Role
 
As a Paraplanner, you'll be responsible for:
  • Providing technical support to Financial Advisers
  • Conducting pension and investment research and analysis
  • Preparing high-quality, compliant suitability reports
  • Researching financial products and developing client recommendations
  • Preparing client files and ensuring compliance documentation is complete
  • Supporting the administration team with technical queries
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge and regulatory awareness
  • Contributing to internal projects and process improvements
About You

To be successful, you'll ideally have:
  • Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management firm
  • Good knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning products
  • Progress towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential), with full study support available
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • The confidence to challenge and question advisers where appropriate
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team
