Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to join a supportive and established wealth management team?
RecruitME is recruiting for a Paraplanner to join a highly regarded professional services business based in Stamford.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can prepare high-quality Suitability Reports and support new and existing business across investments, pensions, trusts and inheritance tax planning.
You will work closely with Independent Financial Advisers, senior colleagues and compliance professionals to deliver accurate, efficient and compliant financial planning solutions.

The role
As Paraplanner, you will join the Wealth Management Support Team, reporting to the Compliance Manager and Head of Support.
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing accurate and compliant Suitability Reports
-
Processing new and existing investment and pension business
-
Supporting trusts and inheritance tax planning cases
-
Assisting with protection and equity release business
-
Preparing annual client reviews
-
Using cash-flow modelling tools
-
Maintaining accurate case management records
-
Liaising with clients, advisers and product providers
-
Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures
-
Supporting IFAs with technical and administrative work
-
Putting clients’ interests at the heart of every recommendation
About you
You will have previous experience within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning environment and be confident preparing Suitability Reports.
You will ideally have knowledge of:

Pensions and investments
-
Investment bonds
-
Trusts and inheritance tax planning
-
Protection and equity release
You should be Diploma-qualified or currently working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
Experience using Intelligent Office, IRESS The Exchange or cash-flow modelling software would be advantageous.
You will also need:

Strong Suitability Report writing skills

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

Good technical and analytical ability

Knowledge of financial services compliance

Ability to manage deadlines and priorities

Confidence dealing with clients, advisers and providers

High levels of integrity and confidentiality
-
Strong Microsoft Office skills
-
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
A relevant finance, economics or law degree would be advantageous but is not essential.
