We are currently looking for an experienced Parking Operations Officer to join a successful team for a housing association based in East London. on a temporary basis for 2 months ongoing at the rate of £23.75 umbrella an hour.

This role is 4 days on site

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on parking experience who is confident managing day-to-day parking operations, dealing with customers and site users, administration and ensuring parking procedures and regulations are followed.



About the role

Working on site, you will play an important role in the smooth running of the parking operation. You will be responsible for a combination of parking administration, operational support, customer service and enforcement activity.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous direct experience within parking, whether in parking enforcement, parking operations, facilities, transport or a similar environment.



Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day on-site parking operations.
  • Monitor parking areas and ensure parking regulations and procedures are followed.
  • Deal professionally with customers, visitors and site users, resolving parking-related queries and issues.
  • Support parking enforcement and compliance activity where required.
  • Manage permits, parking records, notices and associated administration.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure information is kept up to date.
  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors and relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and report parking issues, operational problems or breaches of procedure.
  • Provide a professional and visible on-site presence.
  • Follow all relevant parking policies, procedures and operational requirements.
  • Support the wider team with the smooth and efficient running of the parking service.


About you

We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

  • Previous hands-on parking experience - this is highly desirable.
  • Experience in parking enforcement, parking operations, transport, facilities or a similar environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • The confidence to deal with challenging situations professionally.
  • Good administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and make sound decisions on site.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using systems to record and manage information.
  • A professional and approachable manner.
