Parking Representations and Appeals Officer

An opportunity has arisen for a Parking Representations and Appeals Officer to join a client in North London on a contract basis. You will be responsible for investigating parking appeals and representations, enforcing PCNs (Penalty Charge Notices) where applicable and managing statutory and non-statutory complaints.

The successful candidate must have previous London Tribunals / Environment and Traffic Adjudicators (ETA) appeal experience. This role requires someone with hands-on experience managing parking, bus lane and Moving Traffic appeals through to adjudication. Representation experience alone will not be sufficient.
You will be responsible for preparing case summaries and evidence packs for presentation to adjudicators at London Tribunals, managing appeal cases through Northgate and uploading supporting evidence, including CCTV footage, to the relevant systems.

This is a full-time contract position, so please only apply if you have specific Parking Appeals, Representations and London Tribunals / ETA experience. The rate on offer is £24 - £26 per hour, negotiable for the right candidate and dependent on experience. Flexible working arrangements are available alongside home working opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities:
·Handling on-street and off-street parking, Regulation 10, bus lane and Moving Traffic appeals and representations.
·Investigating parking appeals and representations issued to the public.
·Reviewing and enforcing PCNs where applicable.
·Preparing detailed case summaries and evidence packs for presentation to adjudicators at London Tribunals.
·Managing the full appeal process through to adjudication, including reviewing and responding to additional evidence submitted by appellants.
·Using Northgate to action work relating to a North London Council, including logging new appeals, recording appeal decisions, rescheduled cases, additional evidence, case updates and other relevant information.
·Uploading evidence to London Tribunals and Northgate, ensuring documentation is placed in the correct sections, including CCTV recordings.
·Reviewing adjudicator decisions and providing relevant updates to internal teams.
·Managing statutory and non-statutory complaints via telephone, email and post.
·Handling telephone queries and providing specialist parking advice where required.
·Carrying out site visits where necessary.
·Liaising with external contractors and relevant third parties.
·Assisting the parking enforcement contractor with any issues or problems.
·Using Chipside for internal parking systems.
·Adobe Pro experience would be advantageous.

Essential Experience:
·Previous experience working in Parking Appeals and Representations.
·Proven experience handling London Tribunals / Environment and Traffic Adjudicators (ETA) appeals.
·Experience dealing with parking, bus lane and Moving Traffic cases.
·Experience preparing evidence packs and case summaries for adjudication.
·Experience using Northgate for parking appeals and case management.
·Ability to review and interpret adjudicator decisions and provide appropriate updates.

Please note: London Tribunal / ETA appeal experience is essential for this role. Candidates with representation experience only will not be considered.
