Part 2 Scaffolder

Responsibilities

• Erect, dismantle, and modify scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety standards
• Inspect scaffolding regularly for stability, safety hazards, and compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with carpenters, masons, electricians, and other trades to facilitate smooth workflow
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble scaffolding components efficiently and securely
• Ensure all scaffolding is properly secured and safe for use by workers at height
• Follow detailed plans and diagrams to construct scaffolding tailored to specific site requirements
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding progress, issues, or safety concerns

Requirements

• Proven experience in scaffolding installation and dismantling in construction environments
• Must hold the relevant CISRS qualification/card and be competent in carrying out scaffolding works safely and efficiently.
• Experience in domestic, commercial and reactive scaffolding work would be beneficial.
• HGV licence is preferred but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations
• Skilled in the use of hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, levels, and pliers
• Proficient with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders
• Familiarity with carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, and fabrication enhances versatility
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Physical stamina to work at heights and lift heavy materials safely
