Our accountancy practice client requires a Part Qualified Accountant to join the team at the firm’s Banbury office to undertake accounts, tax and some audit work, supporting Managers and Directors in providing high-quality services to clients.

The ideal candidate will be part qualified ACCA or ACA and have significant audit and accounts experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment.

As Part Qualified Accountant your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of Limited company accounts for a variety of clients to be reviewed by Managers / Directors
  • Preparation of Corporation Tax computations for review
  • Preparing Personal Tax returns
  • Planning and delivery of audit assignments
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff
  • Manage client communication in an effective manner
  • Monitor your assignment budgets pro-actively

  • Part qualified ACCA / ICAEW with audit, accounts and tax experience gained within a UK accountancy practice
  • Knowledge of UK accounting and audit standards
  • You will be self-driven, results orientated and with a positive outlook
  • Be keen progress and develop skills and be interested in supporting trainees with their training and development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good general IT skills, Word and Excel, and ideally with a working knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH
