The ideal candidate must have experience in the recruitment sector to lend their experience and transition well into a role with processes they are already familiar with. There will be opportunities to develop and grow in the role as the business grows. I am open to the level at which someone has been working, so long as it is in the industry.
Salary: £30-50k DOE pro-rata.
Responsibilities include:
Support the Finance Director with a range of daily, weekly and monthly finance tasks including:
- Contractor admin, including payment and billing
- VAT returns
- Management Information reporting for various members of the SLT
- Expenses
- Credit Control
- Commissions calculations
- Multi-currency transactions
- Process improvement utilising tools such as AI
- Other ad-hoc finance work as required.
- 2+ years’ experience in finance within the recruitment industry
- Experienced with Xero accounting software
- Highly numerate with Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills – able to hit deadlines without fail
- Able to liaise with key stakeholders across the business.
- Strong work ethic and an ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment
