Part-Time Credit Controller

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Credit Controller on behalf of a growing professional services business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexible working hours who has previous experience in an accounts, administration or credit control environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing outstanding customer balances, maintaining accurate records and building positive relationships with clients to ensure invoices are paid on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers by phone and email regarding outstanding invoices.
- Maintain and update customer account records.
- Monitor aged debt reports and follow up on overdue payments.
- Resolve payment and invoice queries in a professional manner.
- Allocate incoming payments and assist with account reconciliations.
- Produce basic reports for management as required.
- Support the wider finance team with general administrative tasks.
Candidate Requirements
- Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage workload independently and follow processes.
- Positive and proactive approach to customer communication.
