Our client, a well-established accountancy practice based in Luton, is seeking a Part-Time Practice Administrator to provide essential support to the wider team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy, client-focused environment and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, telephone calls and post
  • Acting as a first point of contact for clients and third parties, including HMRC
  • Handling and coordinating client queries, referring matters to the appropriate team members where necessary
  • Assisting with billing, invoicing and credit control activities
  • Supporting client onboarding and offboarding processes, including engagement documentation and AML procedures
  • Managing Director and practice diaries, appointments and meeting arrangements
  • Carrying out company secretarial duties, including Companies House filings and maintaining statutory records
  • Coordinating the receipt and return of client records and documentation
  • Providing administrative support across the business
  • Assisting the payroll team when required

What the employer is looking for:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally gained within a professional services, finance or accountancy environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident liaising with clients and external organisations.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • A professional, reliable and proactive approach.
