Part time Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are seeking a motivated and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work on a part-time, morning-only basis at a Primary School within the PR5 area. The role will start in October and will be on an ongoing basis.

The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher to support the learning and development of children across the school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a consistent Monday to Friday morning role.

The school is easily accessible by bus from Preston town centre, making it a convenient option for candidates travelling by public transport.

• Working 1-1 with children needing additional support
• Working Monday to Friday, mornings only
• Providing pastoral support to children who may need extra help
• Contributing to the creation of a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Helping to assess pupil's progress and keeping accurate records
• Supporting pupils with special educational needs
• Flexibility to work across different year groups
• Supporting pupils during the morning learning sessions

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and right to work in the UK

• Knowledge of phonics and early years learning
• Experience working with children with SEND
• Experience using ICT to support learning
