Location: Castle Donington
Hours: 20–25 hours per week
Working pattern: Ideally Monday–Friday, although 4 days may be considered with Friday off
Salary: £13,520–£16,900 per annum
Type: Part-Time, Permanent

About the Role

Platinum Personnel are recruiting for a Part-Time Parts Administrator to join a busy and established team in Castle Donington.

This is a varied role combining administration, customer service, stock control and parts coordination. We are looking for an organised, confident and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and is happy to get involved across different areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaising with UK and overseas customers by telephone and email
• Managing stock levels and maintaining accurate stock records
• Processing orders and invoices
• Assisting customers with parts selection
• Ordering and costing parts
• Receiving and dispatching parts to customers
• Maintaining customer records and databases
• Assisting with import/export, customs and courier requirements
• Selling manufactured parts to customers
• Picking and packing orders
• Assisting with urgent despatches
• Some physical lifting and warehouse duties

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous administration, customer service or similar experience
• Excellent communication and telephone skills
• Good written English
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• A self-motivated and reliable approach
• A flexible attitude and willingness to get involved
• The ability to undertake some physical lifting

Experience in import/export, forklift operation or industrial machinery would be advantageous, but is not essential, as training can be provided.
