Parts Advisor | Portsmouth (PO3)

£31,500+ per year DOE + KPI Bonus
Full-Time | Permanent
Monday – Friday + 1 in 3 Saturdays

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join a well-established commercial vehicle business in Portsmouth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an automotive Parts professional looking to develop their career within the commercial vehicle sector, working as part of a friendly, close-knit team alongside the Service and Workshop departments.

The Role

As a Parts Advisor, you will play an important role in keeping the workshop running smoothly and ensuring customers receive the right parts when they need them.

Your responsibilities will include:

• 📦 Sourcing, ordering and receiving automotive parts
• 🔧 Providing parts advice to customers and the workshop
• 🚛 Supporting parts requirements for commercial vehicles
• 📋 Managing stock control, returns and warranty parts
• 💻 Maintaining accurate records using the DMS
• 🧰 Managing workshop consumables, PPE, tools and equipment
• 🤝 Working closely with Service and Workshop teams
• 📞 Dealing with customer and supplier queries
• ⭐ Providing excellent customer service

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous automotive Parts experience – essential
• Car or commercial vehicle Parts experience
• Good knowledge of automotive parts
• Ability to identify and source the correct parts
• Excellent communication and telephone skills
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive and positive approach
• Ability to work well as part of a small team

Commercial vehicle experience is advantageous, but strong candidates from a car Parts background will also be considered.

• £31,500+ salary, depending on experience

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
• Every 3rd Saturday, 8:00am – 12:00pm
