THE ROLE
As an Experienced Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for sourcing, ordering and managing vehicle parts required throughout the accident repair process. You'll work closely with the wider bodyshop team and suppliers to ensure the correct parts are available when required, helping to keep repairs moving efficiently and vehicles completed within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities:
·Source, identify and order vehicle parts accurately and efficiently
·Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain parts, pricing and availability
·Monitor parts deliveries and ensure required components arrive within agreed timescales
·Check parts on delivery for accuracy, quality and any damage
·Work closely with Estimators, Workshop Controllers, Panel Technicians and MET Technicians
·Identify and resolve parts-related issues or delays to minimise disruption to vehicle repairs
·Maintain accurate records of parts orders, costs and deliveries
·Follow company procedures, quality standards and Health & Safety requirements
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced and organised Parts Advisor who has strong product knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a busy accident repair environment.
·Proven experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Coordinator or Automotive Parts Advisor
·Previous experience within an accident repair centre, bodyshop, dealership or automotive environment
·Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and automotive components
·Experience sourcing, ordering and managing parts from suppliers
·Excellent organisational and administrative skills
·Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers and internal teams
·Good attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple orders and priorities
·Confident using computer systems and maintaining accurate records
·Professional, reliable and positive approach
·Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced team
·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
