We are recruiting on behalf of a leading premium franchise-approved car dealership in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, for a Vehicle Parts Advisor. This is a full-time permanent role tailored for experienced motor trade professionals seeking to advance their career within a dynamic automotive environment.

Duties of a Parts Advisor:
  • Handle trade and retail customer parts enquiries, providing high levels of customer service
  • Accurately identify, pick, and dispatch parts promptly
  • Maintain effective parts stock control as a Parts Advisor
  • Supply parts to vehicle technicians in the workshop
  • Cover delivery runs in the absence of a Parts Delivery Driver
  • Ensure accurate recording and processing of all parts transactions
  • Collaborate with the Parts Manager and wider team to meet departmental targets
Requirements of a Parts Advisor:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years recent experience working within a main dealer automotive parts department or a motor factor environment
  • IT literate, with experience using electronic parts catalogue systems
  • Full UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong customer service and sales skills, with a friendly, professional telephone manner
  • Experience with Kerridge/ADP dealer management systems is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team, demonstrating reliability and a proactive attitude
  • Ideally based in or near Cheltenham or within an easily commutable distance
