A well-established family-run dealership in Bicester is seeking an experienced Vehicle Parts Advisor to join their busy team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable automotive business that has been successfully operating for over 50 years. The successful individual will be responsible for providing exceptional service to both trade and retail customers, ensuring accurate parts identification, prompt picking, and efficient dispatch while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

  • Salary ranging from £29,000 to £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Performance-related bonus of up to £3,000 annually

Duties of the Parts Advisor:
  • Deal with trade and retail customers face-to-face, via email, and over the phone regarding parts enquiries and sales
  • Accurately identify parts, process orders, and ensure swift dispatch
  • Carry out stock control and parts supply to workshop technicians
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards and develop product knowledge
  • Work collaboratively within a team, reporting to the Parts Manager
  • Manage parts inventory, including stock checks and replenishment
  • Support the workshop with parts supply and technical support as necessary
Requirements of the Parts Advisor:
  • Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Parts Advisor within an franchised automotive dealership
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle parts is advantageous but not essential
  • IT literate, with experience using electronic parts catalogue systems
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong customer service and sales skills, with an engaging and professional manner
  • Reside within a reasonable commute of Bicester
