Can you identify a brake pad from 100 yards? Do you know the difference between a left-hand and right-hand mirror before the customer finishes describing it? Have you ever been asked for a "thingy that goes under the bonnet" and somehow found the right part?

We're looking for an experienced Parts Sales Executive to join a busy Main Dealer Parts Hub in Guildford. You'll be joining a team of six fellow parts enthusiasts who understand that every day brings a fresh challenge, a new VIN number, and at least one customer who swears they've bought the part from you before.

What's the Job?

This is primarily a phone-based sales role, with around 75% of your day spent handling inbound calls from customers and trade accounts.

Think less "cold calling" and more "saving the day" when a technician needs a part yesterday.

You'll be responsible for:

• Taking inbound parts enquiries and orders
• Identifying and supplying the correct parts first time
• Building relationships with customers and trade accounts
• Processing orders accurately
• Supporting counter sales when required
• Keeping customers happy, even when the part they're after has been superseded three times since 2018

What We're Looking For

You'll probably already have:

• Automotive parts experience
• Strong customer service skills
• The ability to navigate parts catalogues without breaking into a sweat
• A knack for translating vague customer descriptions into actual part numbers

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• SAP
• Pure Cloud phone systems
• Main dealer parts departments
• Trade parts sales

A driving licence isn't essential, although it may help when somebody inevitably asks if you can "just pop it round."

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday:
  • 8:00am – 5:30pm
  • 8:30am – 6:00pm
• 1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:30am – 1:00pm
