The Company

Our client is a well-established M&E Contractor with an excellent reputation, delivering high-quality projects since 1971.

Following the resounding success of their Passive Fire Protection division in their head office in the North East, they are now looking to grow this area of the business in the North West and are seeking a motivated Passive Fire Manager to help drive that growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with passive fire experience who is ready to take the next step in their career while learning from an established and successful team.

The Role

Working alongside the senior management team, you'll help develop the company's Passive Fire Stopping offering across the North West.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and developing relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Identifying opportunities for passive fire works within existing and new projects.
  • Supporting quotations, tenders and project delivery.
  • Managing passive fire projects through to completion.
  • Coordinating labour and subcontractors where required.
  • Carrying out client meetings and site visits.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in line with current fire safety standards and company procedures.
  • Working closely with the established North East team, following proven systems and processes.

About You

We're looking for someone with experience in passive fire protection who is ambitious, commercially aware and keen to develop.

You could currently be working as a:

  • Passive Fire Supervisor
  • Passive Fire Contracts Supervisor
  • Passive Fire Project Coordinator
  • Passive Fire Project Manager
  • Passive Fire Contracts Manager
  • Senior Passive Fire Installer looking to move into management

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience within the passive fire protection industry.
  • Good technical knowledge of fire stopping systems.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • An eye for identifying business opportunities and developing client relationships.
  • A willingness to learn and work within an established, successful way of operating.
  • Full UK driving licence.
