We are currently recruiting three Pastoral Support Workers to join a brand-new specialist school in RCT supporting pupils with severe and complex additional learning needs.
This is a highly rewarding role for individuals who are passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidates will work closely with pupils to support their daily routines, wellbeing, personal development, and educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing pastoral and emotional support to pupils with severe learning difficulties.
- Supporting students with personal care needs, including toileting and nappy changing.
- Assisting with feeding, hygiene, and daily living activities where required.
- Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and independence.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
- Previous experience working within an SEN setting is essential.
- Comfortable providing personal care support.
- Patient, compassionate, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine desire to support young people with complex needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
