As a Payroll Administrator in the transport and distribution industry, you'll be handling the day-to-day payroll processing to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Based in Warrington, this role plays a key part in keeping payroll operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Description

• Process payroll accurately and in line with deadlines.
• Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system.
• Handle payroll queries and provide clear, timely responses.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.
• Assist with payroll reporting and reconciliations as required.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate data flow.
• Support the preparation of year-end payroll documentation.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in payroll processing.

Profile

A successful Payroll Administrator should have:

• Previous experience in payroll or a related role.
• Knowledge of payroll systems and processes.
• Familiarity with payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Good communication skills to address payroll queries effectively.

Job Offer

• Salary between £30,000 and £35,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Permanent position based in Warrington

• 25 days holidays plus BH
• 37.5 hour work week - flexible on start and finish times between 7am and 9am
