Payroll Administrator in Leeds, West Yorkshire

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a reputable business based in East Leeds who are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their growing team on a permanent basis. For this role, it is essential that you have experience in dealing with high volume payroll.

As a Payroll Administrator, your main duties and responsibilities include:

• Input and process data for the four-weekly payroll within Sage.
• Update employee changes including new starters, leavers, sickness, and maternity.
• Perform manual calculations and produce the four-weekly payroll reports.
• Apply statutory data from HMRC including tax codes and student loan variations.
• Calculate and process third-party deductions such as attachment of earnings and child maintenance.
• Manage workplace pension records and submit payments to the People's Pension by the deadline.
• Reconcile and maintain accurate data across Sage Payroll, Cool Care, and pension systems.
• Provide guidance on payroll queries to employees, care home managers, and company directors.
