Payroll Lead (Specialist)

Are you an experienced payroll professional who has managed end-to-end payroll and can confidently communicate the process to colleagues across the business? Do you have experience working with global payrolls and partnering closely with HR?

We're looking for a Payroll Lead to take ownership of payroll operations, ensuring employees across multiple locations are paid accurately, compliantly, and on time. You'll work closely with HR on a daily basis, supporting onboarding, employee changes, and maintaining payroll data throughout the employee lifecycle.

Monday to Thursday based in office and Friday remote (Parking available)

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end payroll process across multiple countries
• Partner with HR to support onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes
• Process starters, leavers, salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, tax, and statutory requirements
• Act as the payroll subject matter expert for employees and stakeholders
• Manage relationships with external payroll providers and drive process improvements

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll
• Global or multi-country payroll experience
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance
• Confident communicator who can explain payroll processes clearly
• Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
