Contract: Temp to Perm-35hrs a week 

About the Role

Tezlom is recruiting a reliable and compassionate PCV Driver with a Category D1 licence (no code 101 restriction) to support transport services for a day care centre for adults with learning disabilities.

You will play a vital role in safely transporting service users to and from the centre, ensuring a positive, respectful, and supportive experience throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport service users to and from the day care centre
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking where required
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of passengers during journeys
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle at all times
• Provide a friendly, respectful, and supportive service to vulnerable adults
• Follow safeguarding and transport policies and procedures

Requirements

• Valid PCV Category D1 licence (no 101 restriction)
• Previous experience driving PCV vehicles preferred
• Experience working with vulnerable adults or in care settings (desirable)
• Calm, patient, and reliable attitude
• Strong awareness of safeguarding responsibilities
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
