PDI VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Location: Preston
Salary: Up to £32,000 Basic Salary | OTE £48,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

THE ROLE
As a PDI Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring vehicles are fully prepared, inspected and maintained to the required manufacturer and dealership standards.
Key responsibilities include:
·Carrying out vehicle preparation and Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs)
·Completing servicing, maintenance and repair work
·Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance checks in line with manufacturer guidelines
·Identifying and rectifying any faults or defects before vehicle handover
·Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standard
·Maintaining safe and professional working practices
·Working effectively as part of the workshop team
·Following manufacturer procedures and technical standards
·Supporting the wider workshop operation where required
 
ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
·Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in Vehicle Repair
·Previous experience carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
·Experience within a professional automotive workshop environment
·Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
·Ability to follow technical instructions and manufacturer procedures
·A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
·Ability to work effectively as part of a team
·Genuine commitment to delivering first-class customer service
·Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
·Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
