We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a respected franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealer group with multiple sites nationwide, seeking a Vehicle PDI Technician for their busy Westbury dealership. Duties of a PDI Technician:
  • Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on light commercial and heavy goods vehicles
  • Prepare vehicles for onward delivery, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards
  • Fit aftermarket equipment or accessories as requested by customers
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and adhere to safety regulations
  • Complete all relevant documentation accurately as a PDI Technician
  • Collaborate with the team to meet productivity targets and quality standards
  • Assist in other vehicle maintenance or repair tasks as required
Requirements of a PDI Technician:
  • Ideally qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Individuals with semi-skilled experience, including those with no formal qualifications, will also be considered
  • Good team player with a committed work ethic
  • Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced workshop environment
  • Motivated to work towards set targets
  • Previous experience working in a dealership or workshop environment is advantageous
