Smile Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Solihull area to recruit an enthusiastic PE Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4 in a supportive department committed to high-quality teaching, student wellbeing, and sporting achievement.

The Role
  • Teach Physical Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and well-structured PE lessons.
  • Inspire pupils to develop their practical skills, teamwork, confidence, and understanding of health and fitness.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress across a range of sporting activities.
  • Promote participation in physical activity and encourage a positive attitude towards sport and wellbeing.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school events where appropriate.
About YouTo be considered, you will have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Physical Education within a secondary school (KS3 and KS4).
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities.
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
