Smile Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Solihull area to recruit an enthusiastic PE Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4 in a supportive department committed to high-quality teaching, student wellbeing, and sporting achievement.

The Role
- Teach Physical Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and well-structured PE lessons.
- Inspire pupils to develop their practical skills, teamwork, confidence, and understanding of health and fitness.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress across a range of sporting activities.
- Promote participation in physical activity and encourage a positive attitude towards sport and wellbeing.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school events where appropriate.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Physical Education within a secondary school (KS3 and KS4).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
